We’re on ESPN! This is a video of an 11-year-old making the first Hole-In-One at Tiger Woods’ course Blue Jack National. Our whole team was excited to see the tee markers that we made on ESPN. Also, see the red amenity stands (behind Tiger) and red directional arrows that we worked hard on!
Practice Facility Ideas
Hi! It was great seeing existing customers and meeting new courses at the 2016 PGA Show in Orlando! Thanks everyone for a great show!
First up are Bag Drops that we made for Troon Country Club. We based the design off their railings at their clubhouse to give a look that fits their image.
Time to update your practice facility? We make it easy and affordable to update your pf with custom range accessories.
Below are bag stands for Troon CC, Union League & Bloomfield.
We make club cleaning station with handles, but sometimes courses want to go ‘old school’ and do club cleaning buckets that hold 5 GAL of water. Also, Turning Stone Resort & Casino chose our 20″x20″ A-frames with clocks & logo for their Atunyote Course.
For Encanterra CC, we did our 1/2 barrel ball baskets. Doesn’t their logo look amazing cut out like that? Kudos to our water jet machine that can handle detail like that!
Below the basket are A-Frame Range Targets with yardage & logo. Notice how we’re using hinges now, which work store easily.
For Overbrook, we built a 2 arm Shag Bag Rack and a Putter Stand. These both give Overbrook a clean & consistent look.
Garbage Can Enclosures are something that every course needs & we make them at prices that can’t be beat! Below is a 32 GAL & 20 GAL trash can enclosures for Troon CC & then a 32 GAL enclosure with lid for Old Hawthorne.
We have a lot to show you for tournament accessories today. Let’s start with proximity markers. We did A-frame proximity markers for Spanish Peaks. For Waverly we did standard proxies (used for SD & LD contests) and A-frame tee announcements that will sit on the tee box.
Tournament Awards: We make trophies that are special and creative. Because of the care that we put into these, please give us 8 weeks of lead time. Thanks!
- Derby Horseshoe Trophies -Anthem.
2. Locust Hill asked for replica 3D cannons on their awards. Aren’t these cool? It’d be fun to when one of these and have it on a display shelf at home or the office.
3. These are blue crab trophies with the base being shaped like a mallet. This was a fun project to work on.
4. Shootout Trophies for River Forest
5. 3D Bridge Trophy for The Bridges. I love how the base is shaped! Each of the awards will have bridges at different positions so that not one trophy will be exactly the same. It’s all about the details..
6. Skeet Shooting Awards for Abel’s Sporting Goods,
7. Shootout Awards for Anthem Country Club. The first photo for Anthem shows what we did this year & below is the style that we did for 2014 & 2015. Notice how just changing the base can give a fresh look to a well-received designed award.
8. Lastly, are the custom plaques that we did for Kissing Camel’s Camel Drivers’ event.
Find Your Unique Trophies
Check out what was said about us this week in the PGA Best Practice emails from our client Jarod Mills at LedgeRock Golf Club.
Come see the unique trophies and course accessories that we make at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. Booth 3400. January 27th-29th.
USGA Mid Am & October at RHI
First up, let’s give a ‘shout out’ to RHI’s CEO & founder, Reid Hatley. Reid just advanced to the Round of 32 by knocking off the No. 4 Seed in match play at the USGA Mid-Amateur National Tournament in Vero Beach, Fla.
Our first ‘share’ are golf club scrubbers for the driving range for Wachesaw & Hasentree. These give the driving range a professional look. Pick your color and add your logo for a truly custom look!
Next, is a custom broken tee box for Entrada’s driving range that serves it purpose while looking classy. Then we have a driving range target in the shape of a pheasant for Legacy Ridge.
Below is a ball pyramid tray that we made twice for Wachesaw (the first time these burned in our warehouse fire). These trays will look great on their driving range!
The tournament prizes that your winning players leave with are lasting memories of playing at your course. That makes it especially important to give awards that look good, and are special to them & your course. Awards by RHI Golf will do just that. Northwood’s Oak Tree Invitational will be giving out nice looking oak tree trophies. Notice the detail that the water jet machine cut into the steel. Also, the base starts as a piece of 8″ pipe. The bark texture is actually weld slag. We joke that it takes a lot of talent to weld that poorly.
The players at Catawba’s 2014 Fall Classic liked their trophies so much that we have a 2015 re-order.
Same thing happened with Lakes at Castle Hills’ “Quest for the Grail”, and St. James’ “Cattail Classic”. For St. James, we did these 3D cattails for the ladies’ in the spring, which were well-received, so we are doing them for the men, too.
It is October, so it’s fitting to have an Oktoberfest beer trophy. Here’s one that we modeled after Ledge Rock’s design vision.
Below are tomahawk trophies for The Cliffs at Keowee Falls. It was cool to have a real tomahawk piece pipe to incorporate into a trophy. The guys were surprised when I walked in the shop with a Native American piece pipe!
As we start to get back into full production mode soon, you will be seeing lots more photos!

Strong at RHI Golf
At 4 am Tuesday morning our lives were changed by a devastating arson fire that destroyed our ten thousand square foot building. Reid Hatley, RHI’s owner has put his heart and soul into this company since 2009, and we’re not going to let this tragedy keep our business from being one of the fastest growing in the golf manufacturing industry. He has found a new warehouse, and we will be back in operation beginning as soon as possible. We will build each order as soon as possible because we value everyone’s continued loyalty to RHI Golf. If you have any questions, please email/call Joy, Reid & Amber any day/time and we will try to help you as much as possible. Please do not cancel your orders because our products quality isn’t based on a 3 month period, they are built to last several years on your course. If you do have an order with us, please call/email to confirm with us, because once we become operational in October, we will begin building the orders in the order that we first received them. Thank you for your continued support. Please spread the word about RHI’s amazing product and how we’re going to come back bigger and better before with all new machines and all new outlooks on business. We are still taking orders. Thanks everyone for your amazing support
Golf Tournament Accessories
Do you have a tournament in August-October that you need trophies for? It’ time to start booking your order (: First, we have several June tournament trophies to share with you.
Overall Champion & Flight Champion Trophies
Below are Custom Tournament Boxes & Starter’s Trays that are functional and give a professional look. 1. Washington Metropolitan Association Starter Box (Open Style). 2. USGA Starter’s Tray (Open Style). 3.&4. Tournament Organizer Box for Old Edward’s. In this style we have clips to hold paper securely in place.
Custom Tee Markers can be as unique as you want. Below is one of our favorite styles that Crane Creek did.
Custom Tee Signs: Both of these tee signs have raised layered logos that give a great branded look. Each sign was given special handwork and involved several powder coat processes. Each color that you see is a separate piece of metal. Tee Signs can be mounted on walls, rocks, posts, etc. Just let us know where yours will be.
Next, we have to share the custom Scoreboard Signs that we made for Hillcrest CC. These signs will last for the next several years while looking great. We made these so that they have adjustable heights.
The RHI Crew builds durable and affordable metal podiums that you can customize to fit your needs. RHI’s quotes are often HALF of other companies. Below is the podium that we built for Wannamoisett.
Lastly, is a Directional Golf Course Sign for Lincoln Park West, and an A-Frame Range Sign with clock for Pikewood National. We build all kinds of signs, big and small. Just let us know what you need and we’ll create a custom option that works for you.
